Use the diagram as a starting point for your installation. Replace the example equipment and cable lengths with your own, and check the connections against your exact model's instructions.
3 m one way
18.4 V panel Vmp
- Wire
- 2.5 mm² · 13 AWG
- Example fuse
- 15 A
- Design current
- 10.9 A
- Voltage drop
- 2.5%
Sized against ABYC E-11. The design current is the part's continuous draw. The length is one way; voltage drop includes an equal-length return.
Run-length and manufacturer assumptions
The editable example uses 3.048 m (10 ft) runs unless a shorter run is stated. Metric overviews round these to 3 m. Adapt the parts and lengths to your installation before choosing cable and protection.
Supporting parts
- 6.1 m total of 2.5 mm² (13 AWG) marine cable
- Terminations for 2.5 mm² cable, matched to the equipment's screw terminals, leads or studs
- 15 A fuse and holder on the positive run
- Heat-shrink, strain relief and terminal boots sized to the cable
Check stud sizes, fuse type, run length and how warm the space gets against the gear you actually have before you order.

Identify the 18.4 V RS-M200 revision
This entry matches the 2024 RS-M200 / MEGA 200 manufacturer sheet archived by ENF: 200 W, 18.4 V Vmp, 10.9 A Imp, 21.8 V Voc and 11.6 A Isc. See datasheet, page 2. Rich Solar has reused the product name across revisions; another official MEGA 200 sheet lists 20.4 V Vmp and 24.3 V Voc. Match the actual label instead of mixing these columns.
The matching sheet specifies 32 cells, 1490 × 680 × 30 mm, 10.7 kg, a white backsheet and an aluminium frame. The catalog description has been aligned with this sheet's dimensions and weight.
Connect the panel to a suitable controller
The output cable is 4 mm² / 12 AWG, 900 mm long, ending in locking solar connectors. Check their actual make and model before selecting extension pairs; the sheet's generic connector description is not permission to mix superficially similar brands.
Route positive and negative to a suitable solar controller. A compatible PWM or MPPT controller can charge a nominal 12 V battery, but the controller must tolerate the full cold Voc and intended array current. Configure its battery profile separately; panel voltage is not a battery charging setting. Secure cable loops and provide abrasion protection where they cross a roof or enclosure.
Calculate voltage and string protection
The verified Voc temperature coefficient is −0.29%/°C. Cold panels produce more than the 21.8 V STC open-circuit value. Add voltages for series strings and allow required tolerances and installation margins before comparing against the controller rating.
The sheet specifies 1500 V maximum module-system voltage and 20 A maximum series fuse. Neither is a recommended small-system operating value. Select string protection from reverse-current exposure, cable ratings and the controller design, without exceeding the module ceiling. Crimp's 15 A connector allowance is a conservative planning value, not a published module fuse rating.
Use the mounting drawing for the actual frame
The manufacturer drawing shows the existing mounting slots and dedicated small holes in the frame. Select brackets or rails compatible with those locations and the supporting roof. The sheet lists several compatible mounting styles but does not provide a universal bracket torque or an adhesive installation method.
Keep the frame supported, allow airflow and drainage, and keep cable connectors out of pooled water. Do not use the weather-load claims as a substitute for roof attachment design. Cover and isolate the panel during wiring, verify polarity, and compare initial charging behavior with the sunlight and shading conditions rather than expecting 200 W continuously.

Connect it to the rest of your system.
Describe your setup to draft a system with RS-M200 connected. Review the selected parts and cable lengths, then edit the diagram in Crimp.
The model only picks parts and draws the connections. Every wire size and fuse rating still comes from Crimp's own sizing, never from the model.
