Victron Lynx Power In wiring diagram
Unfused Lynx distribution module with four positive/negative connection pairs and a ground connection, rated 1000 A continuous. M8 and M10 interconnection versions exist; verify actual hardware. Batteries, loads and chargers need external circuit protection.

Cable sizing for this example
Use the diagram as a starting point for your installation. Replace the example equipment and cable lengths with your own, and check the connections against your exact model's instructions.
Cable sizes depend on the connected equipment, current and cable lengths. Add those details in Crimp to size each run.

Which Power In generation is covered?
The Lynx Power In is an unfused positive/negative distribution module with four connection pairs and a ground connection. Victron's M8/M10 manual covers both generations. This catalog's generic model name does not encode a purchase part number; confirm the actual interconnection size before joining modules.
M10 identifies the enlarged module-to-module joints. It does not mean every internal branch fastener is M10: the manual's introduction and DC-wire instructions specify M8 cable connections. Its later drawing also labels an M10 negative connection, so inspect the supplied hardware before choosing all lugs from the cover name alone.
What do positions 1–4 do?
All 1+ through 4+ points join one positive busbar; all 1− through 4− points join one negative busbar. They are connection positions, not independently switched or regulated outputs. Batteries, chargers or loads can use these positions as appropriate to the system layout.
If the assembly includes a battery shunt or Lynx BMS, battery connections belong on its battery side and every load/charger return belongs on its system side. Putting a charging return directly on the battery-side negative rail bypasses measurement even when the drawing appears electrically connected.
Where does circuit protection go?
There are no onboard fuses. Printed page 8 requires externally fused connections for attached loads, chargers and batteries. A plain Power In is not a Lynx Distributor and does not become one merely by fitting a fuse somewhere on its end busbar.
The module is rated 1000 A continuous, but that does not assign 1000 A to every cable or certify an equal 250 A allocation among four branches. Review the actual simultaneous current, cable ratings, source-side protection, fuse voltage and available fault current. The least-rated part of the complete Lynx assembly remains a constraint.
Which installation details need checking?
Printed pages 10–11 specify 14 N·m for M8, and 33 N·m for M10 joints, reduced to 17 N·m for units with serial numbers before HQ2340XXXX. Apply the correct value to each actual fastener and follow the illustrated lug/washer order. Keep unused busbar ends insulated and secure the assembly using its mounting holes.
The manual places any required system-ground connection after the current-measuring shunt/BMS. The catalog drawing omits that grounding design, external fuse hardware and the mechanical M8/M10 interfaces. Verify those before energising, alongside polarity, protected conductor routing and the final covered assembly.

Describe your setup to draft a system with Lynx Power In connected. Review the selected parts and cable lengths, then edit the diagram in Crimp.
The model only picks parts and draws the connections. Every wire size and fuse rating still comes from Crimp's own sizing, never from the model.
