What does the Argofet 100-2 do?
The 100-2 distributes one alternator or charger output to 2 battery banks while blocking current from one bank back into another. The manufacturer datasheet specifies 100 A maximum charging current and 100 A maximum alternator current for the complete unit. It is not 100 A independently available from each output.
It automatically operates on 12 V or 24 V systems. The published drop is below 0.02 V at low current and about 0.1 V at higher current. Cable losses still matter. This device does not set a battery charging profile, limit alternator current or replace a lithium battery's BMS.
How are the main terminals connected?
Connect the source positive to INPUT/ALT and each battery positive to its own numbered output. The model uses M8 main studs. Connect the battery negatives to a common negative bus. Protect the battery-fed conductors and source circuit according to their actual cables and fault sources; the isolator is not a fuse.
The separate Ground blade terminal is required, using at least 2.5 mm² to the common negative bus. The canvas symbol shows only the high-current positive terminals, so the page leaves the part unwired and does not publish a cable/fuse reference. Add the complete arrangement from the installation diagram on page 1 of the manual, including this ground.
When is Energize used?
Some alternators need battery voltage at B+ before they begin charging. The Argofet blocks reverse battery current, so the optional current-limited Energize input can supply that initial voltage when the engine run/stop switch is closed. The manual specifies a minimum 2.5 mm² lead for this connection. Determine whether the installed alternator needs it; it is not a field-control output or a substitute for regulator wiring.
What should be checked after installation?
Mount the heatsink on a nonflammable surface and leave it able to shed heat. Verify polarity and bank separation before starting the engine, then confirm that each bank receives the expected charging voltage. The blue LED indicates voltage at the input; it does not prove every output cable, fuse or battery connection is sound. Check alternator regulation, battery chemistry compatibility and BMS shutdown behaviour separately before relying on a mixed-bank installation.

Describe your setup to draft a system with Argofet 100-2 connected. Review the selected parts and cable lengths, then edit the diagram in Crimp.
The model only picks parts and draws the connections. Every wire size and fuse rating still comes from Crimp's own sizing, never from the model.
